We believe that the Bible is the inspired and the only inerrant, authoritative and sufficient Word of God. We believe the Scriptures are necessary as God's self-disclosure.  It is only through the Scriptures that we can know God savingly.  We believe the Scriptures are understandable and the final authority for all matters of faith and practice.  (2 Tim 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21)

We believe that there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. One in essence and equal in power and glory. We believe that God is a Spirit, infinite, eternal, self-sufficient, holy, sovereign, omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent.  God is unchangeable in His being, wisdom, justice, mercy, truth, and love.  (Gen 1:1-2,26; John 1:1-3, 10:30)

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His substitutionary and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. We believe that Jesus Christ is the own and only Savior for sinners.  He lived a perfect life and died a sacrificial death as a substitute for sinners.  He was crucified, dead, buried, and was resurrected by the Father, in the power of the Holy Spirit, on the third day to demonstrate victory over sin, death, and hell.  After his resurrection, he appeared bodily to many, ascended to heaven, sits at the right hand of the Father, and will return personally and visibly to judge the living and the dead.  (Matt 1:23; Heb 4:15; John 2:11; 1 Cor 15:3-4; Acts 1:9-11)

We believe that man was created by God to know God and to bear His image.  Man was created male and female, equal in dignity and worth. (Gen 1:26-28, 5:1,2; Ps 139:13-16)

We believe that although man was created good, he was also created with a freedom to obey or disobey.  We believe that man, in Adam, disobeyed God and now has a distorted image.  As a result of this original sin, all mankind is no longer in a right relationship with God, but instead is sinful and under the curse of the physical and spiritual death.

We believe that salvation is a gift of God's grace through faith alone in Christ alone.  Man, in his sinful condition, is deserving of condemnation and separation from God eternally. God is merciful to provide Jesus Christ, as the Second Adam, as our representative. Christ, by His righteous life and sin-bearing death, is given by God as His provision for man's sinful dilemma. Christ freely took the penalty of God's wrath against sin on our behalf. God grants man with regeneration by the Holy Spirit and he is justified by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Salvation is wholly of God and no merit of our own.  God initiates His work in the believer's life through election, effectual call, regeneration and conversion.  All those who are converted are justified, sanctified, and glorified and will persevere to the end by the keeping power of God. (Rom 3:19-24; John 3:16-19; Eph 2:8-9; Titus 3:5-6)

We believe in the continuing ministry of the Holy Spirit and that by His indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. (Acts 1:8; Rom 8:11; Gal 5:16-22)

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved unto eternal life and those who are lost unto eternal damnation. (John 5:28-29; Dan 12:2)

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Cor 12:12-13; Gal 3:26-28)

We believe that God created marriage as union between a man and a woman. We believe that the term “marriage” has only one, legitimate meaning, and that is marriage is sanctioned by God, which joins one man and woman in a single, covenantal union, as delineated by Scripture. (Genesis 2:24; Romans 7:2; I Corinthians 7:10; Ephesians 5:22-23)

We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage We believe that any form of homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, bestiality, incest, fornication, adultery, transgenderism, and pornography are sinful perversions of God’s gift of sex. We believe that God disapproves of and forbids any attempt to alter one’s gender by surgery or appearance. (Genesis 2:24; 19:5; 13; 26:8-9; Leviticus 18:1-30; Romans 1:26-29; I Corinthians 5:1; 6:9; I Thessalonians 4:1-8; Hebrews 13:4)
