About us
Located in beautiful Lake County in the city of Willoughby, an eastern suburb of Cleveland, our church has faithfully served the community since the mid-1970s as a small independent congregation. We are a gospel-centered, Christ-treasuring church committed to the truth and authority of Scripture. Our theological convictions are generally Reformed in perspective and Baptist in doctrine, and we are elder-led in our governance and shepherding practices. Above all, we desire to glorify God by proclaiming the gospel, making disciples, and living together as a loving body of believers centered on and unified by Jesus Christ.
WHat you'll find here
At Christ Community Church, we are people of different ages, backgrounds, and stages of life who have been brought together by our shared hope in Jesus Christ. We desire to treasure Christ above all, joyfully submit to the truth of His Word, worship God together, love and serve one another, and encourage one another toward faithful discipleship. We believe the Christian life was never meant to be lived alone, but in the fellowship of a local church where we grow together in the knowledge and likeness of Christ for the glory of God.
